I got up at about 7:30 and went for a walk on the jogging deck. We then went back up to the Marquee for breakfast. We had really nice Greek yoghurt with honey and blueberries. Ian had pumpkin pancakes and I had smashed avocado on toast.

I went to an Italian language class at 9:30. It really just covered very basic greetings etc. I then went to art class, where we made beaded bracelets.
Ian and I then went to the Venetian Lounge to watch a paella making demonstration. It was very interesting.
We had a light lunch in the Marquee as we are having a big night. We shared a small appetiser and a pizza.
We went to bingo and trivia again in the afternoon. I won one round of bingo (got 12 prize points) and we came third in trivia. Being a sea day, lots of people came to trivia and we had a full team!
We took some time to get ready for dinner - Ian in a tux and me in a dress. We went to the SALT bar for a drink. I had a very fancy drink with a smoke bubble!
We had an 8pm booking at La Dame. This is an exclusive French restaurant, that normally attracts an upcharge. On Silver Nova it was $80 per head when we booked. But the upcharge has increased to $160, although our charge, for some reason was $0. We have eaten at La Dame on two previous occasions on Silver Muse and this offering was meant to be better.
The service, wine and food were all very good, although we would not consider it to be worth $160 per head We started with an amuse-buoche, then had a small appetiser of crab, scallop and prawns. The next course was foie gras (our favourite course), the. Dover sole, boned at the table. The main course was veal (a little tough). Then there was a sorbet, followed by a cheese course then dessert of salted caramel soufflé.
